Bear Sculptures

It's not white, but this is a Polar Bear Statue. Notice the length of the hair of the coat. At the San Diego Zoo it's really fun to see the polar bears playing. Or, you can go to  Churchill to see Polar Bear's when they come South in Canada for the harshest part of the winter. If you are really adventurous, you can go to the Arctic. Perhaps, the easiest thing to do is to purchase this statue!

The core of the bear is made of resin which allows for the long hair...it has been electroplated with bronze. Customization is possible.

How to Personalize with Plaque

Do you know when what a Grizzly is? It is a bear with silver tips to its hair. The silver gives the bear a scary, gruesome look. Thus, the name Grizzly.

The Grizzly is an aggressive bear and it is larger than most bears. In fact a grizzly has been measured close to 10 feet! That's BIG.

This grizzly bear statue is made of resin. It is standing on some rocks. It's tummy looks very full. It's facial expression is questioning. The large bump above the front shoulders is distinctive. That muscle controls their fore arms.

A glorious coat of fur is shown on this bear statue. the statue is made of bronze in the USA. the bear looks as if he's about ready to pounce. If you collect bears or need a bear to go with a bull, this delightful fellow will be a good choice. The base is made of walnut. It can be personalized with a plaque, but a narrow plate due to the edging of the base.

With one paw on a rock this bear is definitely checking things out. For one of our smaller bear sculptures, this sculpture still has a lot happening.

With a resin core that has been electroplated with bronze, the coat of this bear is quite "hair-like." The oval base is 4-1/2 inches long. It can have a 1/2 inch high plaque that is 3 inch long. We will mail you the plaque for you to adhere. It's easy to do.

Sleek Silver Bear has a contemporay style and coordinates with the sleek bull. The bear is slightly smaller in size than the bull. It's core is solid brass and it has been electroplated with a chrome non-tarnish finish.

There are many species of bears. In the United States, the most common is the black bear which has a population of close to one million.

This black bear statue is made of resin and has been hand painted to resemble wild black bears. This bear seem to be taking a slow walk. 

We've been taught that bears hibernate.

Did you know in Alaska a black bear typically hybernates for 7 months? But, black bears in Florida do not hybernate. Instead they go into a state known as "torpor" also known as winter blues - a period of inactivity.

 

We chose the adjective "Curious" to describe this Bear Statue. It has been flawlessly created with lots of detail. The bear's fur makes you want to touch it because the fur looks so real. The toenails have great detail The face is wonderful with the nostrils and hair looking just like it should. The bear appears to be descending on a rock very carefully looking for something.

Customization is easy on the black base. A plaque can easily be adhered. Since the base is oval, the length of the plaque is limited to 5 inches, height 1-1/4 inch. Plaque is as easy to adhere as a band-aid and will be mailed separately.

How to Personalize with Plaque

The texture of the coat is very coarse for this Grouchy Bear Statue.

It is made of resin all the small details are well done, teeth, paws, ears are very well designed. The bear has a bronze finish.

The oval base will allow a 1/2 inch plaque if you'd like to customize. 

Our favorite bear statue!

We think of Bears as Fierce! But, how do these large animals sneak up on their "catch". They need to be stealth. 

In this bear statue, you can "feel" the caution as the bear lowers its front paw. Looks like it will be done quietly. Thus, we've named this bear our Stealth Bear statue.

It is made of bronze and the coarse coat of the bear is well depicted. 

A plaque can easily adhere to the base. Due to the curved corners of the base probably best to keep the plaque at 4 inches in length.

Brown Bear is resting on a tree trunk that extends over a pond. This relaxing 16 x 20" photo also has the bear's image on the water. An extraordinary moment in time that Bob was able to capture for us with his photographic skills and his patience. 

Brown Bears have a lifespan of 20-30 years in the wild. Their maximum speed is 35 mph!!! It can take 270 days for gestation...similar to a human.
