The four rowers are made of silver (nickel) alloy. Quite elegant. Rowing together is a great symbol of teamwork.

Any crew is aware of how important each individual rower is to the whole. Have you read the book "The Boys in the Boat"? A 2014 book written about the University of Washington crew during Hitler's reign. They won the Olympic Gold Metal. Fascinating book about what it's like to crew and be a member of a boat. Definitely teamwork.

The 2024 movie that George Clooney produced "The Boys in a Boat" is a must-see - from MY point of view.

The base is made of wood. It is brown in color. The text you see in the image is already on the base.
