Seahorse sits on a base that measures 2"H x 3-1/8" each side. You could personalize with a small plaque on the base. Plaque would be mailed to you separately.

The seahorse is one of the most unusual ocean creatures. It has a head shaped like a horse, a bony body, a thin tail it uses to grab seaweed and coral. Seahorses live in warm water on coral reefs. Seahorses range in size from 6 to 12 inches. The female places her eggs in the males kangaroo-like chest pouch where they are fertalized and remain for 4-6 weeks.
