Whale Statue - Awesome Orca

Did you know that an Orca Whale is actually part of the broader dolphin family? Perhaps, that's why they're so agile. If you sail in waters where Orcas swim, you see them surfacing often. Their distinctive black and white design makes the orca easily identified. 

This 18 inch high whale statue is quite impressive.  Instead of white, this statue shows the killer whale as black and brass colored. Many have found killer whales to be friendly in the water. This statue conveys that feeling - it doesn't look angry. The statue has been created with resin and then electroplated for a lasting finish.  Customization is possible with a plaque on the wooden base. The diameter of the base measures 7 inches. You don't want the plaque to "pop" off the base, so length is probably best at  3 inches.

Killer whales are highly social animals - frequently forming family groups called pods. The killer what has the reputation of having the most stable family group of any animal species. They have sophisticated hunting techniques and vocal behaviours.
