Knight & Horse Statue - in full body armor
A thousand years ago there were special warriors who rode on horseback. These warriors were knights. A knight usually came from a wealthy noble family. Their "gear" was expensive...weapons and what they wore.
Did you know the weight of a knights plate armor was around 60 pounds? I've lifted the back pack of a Navy Seal - that pack weighs 40 or more pounds. So, today's Navy Seals carry similar weight as the knights did so many years ago.
This statue is made of resin and hand painted. The man is fully encased in his armor. The horse is wearing a lot of armor too. Note the armor in front of the horse's head, between the eyes. All of this armor was custom made.
