German Knight Statue - in full armor

German knights were members of the Teutonic Order. 

The medieval knights in various regions all had the ability to sustain commercial avenues, while conducting military campaigns. The cost of warfare needed economic backing. Many of the Teutonic knights became astute businessmen who often became experts in trading commodities like wheat, hides, and wool. Over time they played a vital role in long-distance trade routes that stretched from Europe to the Middle East.  

German Knight Statue has a pewter finish. Notice that this knight has an open face. Most knights covered their faces. The lattice design is unusual. A really good designer created the protection for both the horse and the man. Each was custom made.
