Eagle Sculpture - Talons 1,000 lbs
The talons of an eagle can exert pressure equating to 1,000 lbs! Can you imagine?
This eagle sculpture shows the talons extended and outstretched. An eagle has 700 individual feathers. Many of those feathers are visible on this sculpture. The sculptor did a great job in its design. You can easily see four layers of feathers on the wings. It appears as if this eagle has caught its prey.
The core of the sculpture is made of resin which is why it's possible to have such intricate design. It is then electroplated with bronze for a lasting finish.
The wooden base has a diameter of 8-1/2 inches and is two inches high. If you want to personalize, maximum size of a plaque would be 3-1/2 inches long and 1-1/2 inches high.
At 20 inches high, you could have a "guard" eagle rather than a "guard" dog at your door!!!
