The fish had been in the bill of the pelican..but, no more! How fun! How many people in the world have seen this happen...we know one person who saw captured the moment in this photo.

White pelicans can fly for 24 hours at speed up to 35 mph. However, when hunting for dinner, they fly quite slow. They are also one of the few birds that can fly at high altitudes, around 10,000 feet.
