Knight & Horse - beautiful armor
How much did this armor cost the Knight back in Medieval Times? The armor is very impressive. Today we're told you could purchase a car for the price of the armor. Each piece was custom made.
No other horseback warriors in the world had armor like that of the knights. Plate armor was made in sections, or plates, so the knight could walk but the armor was hot to wear. If the armor got dirty, it was cleaned with a mixture of sand and urine! Yuck!
This knight statue is made of resin and been hand painted. Wonder what the horse thought about the armor illustrated on this statue? The "skirt" was quite long. The horse's head is covered. And, then there is the knight! Note the shield he has on his left arm. Keep looking...there's so much to see...
