Eagle Parent has two squawking babies on the nest. The eagle has a look of bewilderment. Just like human parents who don't understand what's happening. At 16" this eagle statue is fairly large. The babies are below the parent's feet.
The raised wings of the eagle is quite impressive. The resin core allows the feathers to have individual detail. The stance of a parent is well shown. Very protective.
The wooden base is circular. It is possible to personalize with a 3" x 1" plaque.
Juvenile eagles first fly between 10-12 weeks of age. They soon will fly about 100 miles each day in search of food.
