Yes, the American Yorkshire Pig grows to be quite large. It is the most popular breed of pig in the US. Since this statue is made of resin, the coarse hairs of the pig are quite visible as are the wrinkles around its snout. Standing on all four legs, you could use this pig as a greeter. Or, wherever its new home is, it'll be noticeable.

In the 1940's alot of Yorkshire pigs were brought into the USA from Canada.  Now called the American Yorkshire pig, it is found in most states. From birth to adult takes about 10 months. Can weigh 750  lbs.
