This elephant looks like a gorgeous wood sculpture! But, it's not really wood. It's made of resin, hand painted.
At 15 inches in size, it is an amazing price for such a large elephant statue that looks so good. The elephant's trunk is raised to its forward - so it's wishing you lots of luck (if the lucky elephant tale is true.) Notice the two white tusks. The ears look smaller so this would be an Asian elephant.
Did you know an elephant spends 12 to 18 hours each day eating grass, plants and fruit. They use their trunk to SMELL their food and lift it to their month. With all of this vegetation there is a lot of poo. In fact, one ton of poo per week per elephant. This poo keeps the soil fertile and recycles seed back to nature.
