POPPY. We like to think of this shade of red as poppy. Poppies have become a symbol of remembrance of soldiers who have died during wartime. The poppy is also the State Flower of California.In the Spring, you see lots of poppies along the road side when you travel the highways of  California. Satin finish.

FIRE ENGINE RED. We will create this shiny Fire Engine Red ceramic piggy bank just for you. It is a glossy color and is the brightest red piggy bank we offer. The name of this shade of red tells it all - we've all seen red fire engines.

RED DELICIOUS. Red Delicious is a beautiful shade of red. It's darker than the Fire Engine Red and lighter than Colonial Red or Maroon. Since an apple a day is supposed to keep you well, perhaps this piggy bank would be good in the kitchen. Or, help you save for those massages.  Gloss finish.

COLONIAL RED. This red piggy bank is darker than fire engine red and lighter than claret. In New England this shade of red is called Colonial Red - especially in New Hampshire where we are based.
