The crown jewel of the Cape Lookout National Seashore, is this lighthouse, known affectionately as our Diamond Lady due to her diamond pattern. She has faithfully kept watch over this area for more than a century. The Cape Lookout National Seashore has 56 miles of undeveloped beach sand, only accessible by boat.

You can reach the Diamond Lady by ferry or by your boat. This is area where the wild horses of Shackleford Banks are.
