The Snowy Owl is native to the Arctic where it lives on the tundra. In order to withstand Arctic temperature, the snowy owl has a lot of feathers - more feathers than owls found in warmer climates. Their feet are even covered with feathers, like fluffy slippers, to help keep this owl warm in its habitat.
