Our fabulous photographer first captured the photo "Where's My Dinner?" where an angry pelican with beak open goes after an Osprey flying away.
This is the 2nd photo that was taken a second later. Note the fish the Osprey has in its talons.
If you purchase both photos, you've got the story. Wonder how many people have actually seen an event like this in real life. My guess is very few.
The Osprey's nickname is "fish hawk". Ospreys' unique talons allow them to rearrange their catch, while flying, so that the fish faces forward as they carry it to eat. Osprey's wingspan is 5 feet. Not a small bird.
