When my Dad died, a friend gave me this poem, "Pennies from Heaven." I began to pick up every penny I saw lying on the ground. I find it amazing that when I'm most troubled or the most indecisive I always seem to find a penny. I doubt if I'll ever throw one of "Dad's pennies" away; but I needed a place to keep them. So, this piggy bank was designed for me. I hope it will be as meaningful to you as it is for me.
Representing heaven, the pig is blue to represent the sky and the clouds are white fluffy ones. The author of the poem thanked me for creating a piggy bank for his poem. You can print the poem for your use or give with the gift.

Eagle Head & American Flag Picture Frame has an interesting design. The head of the eagle has a very prominent beak! Looks quite vicious! it is bronze colored.The "neck" of the eagle is a portion of the American Flag. You see a little bit of the blue background with stars, but most of the flag is the red and white stripes. A novel design that looks good!
The wooden base is 7 inch wide and the eagle is 7-1/2 inches high. You can personalize with a plaque to put on the base.

The eagle has had a perilous journey in United States. In 1963 the Bald Eagle was added to the Endangered list in USA - due to DDT. At that time there were only 417 pairs remaining. The use of DDT had begun in the 1950's and was found in much of the food eagle's ate. In 1972 - 20 years - later USA finally recognized the problem and banned DDT. Without DDT the population of eagles has soared to 9,700 pairs in 2020 in the lower 48 states. Many more live in Alaska. In 2007 the eagle was removed from the Endangered list. Good news!
Thus, the eagle as our national symbol and as a thank you for getting rid of DDT must love the United States as much as we do!
