Trail of Painted Ponies introduced the Crystal Ornament in 2006 and retired in 2009. The artist is Olena Kalayda who was from the Ukraine.

The inspiration for this pony are paintings from the 18th Century with the country people of that era. Back then, they would beautify their homes with floral paintings on the walls. The paintings typically included birds of paradise and silver lace.

Olena created this gorgeous tribute to the magical beauty of winter in Ukraine and other places around the world.  It features glistening snow. A special tree ornament filled with memories of the artist.

Made by Westland Giftware. This ornament is in its original maroon box with original stickers on the box. The box has never been opened. Wall Street Gifts had 15 e-commerce sites for several years. One was PonyPonyPony.com where we sold these delightful horses. When Trail of Painted Pony organization switched manufactuers, we closed down PonyPonyPony and boxed an assortment of ponies.
