Whose the best pitcher in 2021? Vote goes to Jacob deGrom of the NY Mets. He had an amazing 39% strike outs in 2020.

This baseball statue shows a pitcher about to throw a ball. His left foot has stepped forward and his right hand has the baseball in it.  As the right arm moves forward, so will his right foot. All of this motion by the pitcher can create speeds of 90 mph or so. That's fast!

Just like an engineer, a baseball pitcher has to be fairly accurate. He has a specific "box" that he needs to throw the ball in.
