Over the foreleg is an Indian Chief with this headgear of feathers. The statue is made of resin and has been hand painted with the various symbols of the Native American.

Wolves figure prominently in the mythology of nearly every Native American tribe. In most Native cultures, the Wolf is associated with courage, strength, loyalty, and success at hunting.
